Discover Volkswagen's latest gem: an American-style electric 4x4 at an incredible price!

Volkswagen's latest jewel has just been unveiled! The German brand has created an American-style electric 4x4, and the price is incredibly attractive. This off-road vehicle is equipped with all the latest technologies and offers a unique driving experience. Discover everything you need to know about this new Volkswagen model, which is sure to conquer electric car enthusiasts and off-road fans.

The article from Volkswagen on its new brand, Scout Motors, specializing in electric 4x4s, is a fascinating read. The information on the first electric car, which is expected to be an affordable electric SUV priced at $40,000, is very promising. Unfortunately, its release in Europe is not yet planned, but that doesn't stop us from being excited about future launches.

It's interesting to note that Scout Motors is a former American brand that existed between the 1960s and 1980s before disappearing into obscurity. Volkswagen now wants to revive this brand to compete with rivals such as Rivian or General Motors.

The manufacturer has already released a teaser featuring two vehicles in the form of sketches. These are a pickup truck and an SUV that bear a striking resemblance to Rivian's models. Although Volkswagen has not yet provided additional information on these two models, we are eager to learn more.

This is an original Scout 4x4 of the 1960s.

Fortunately, we now have some information on the first vehicle that Scout Motors will produce. It will be a "rugged utility vehicle" that is expected to compete with the Ford F-150 Lightning and other GMC Hummers. This will be quickly followed by the pickup truck, which should also compete with models such as the Tesla Cybertruck.

This new electric SUV will be based on a new platform and cost around $40,000. The pickup truck will be slightly more expensive. However, we will have to wait a bit longer… Both vehicles will not be unveiled until 2024, and production will not begin until 2026.

The German manufacturer has already invested $2 billion in the South Carolina plant, which will be entirely dedicated to producing these two models. According to forecasts, 200,000 vehicles will be produced annually when the site reaches its maximum capacity.

Scout Motors is a separate entity from the rest of Volkswagen, in the form of a subsidiary, and will only be marketed in the United States. However, it is not excluded that the brand may also make an appearance in Canada to compete with the many Chinese brands entering the market.

It is clear that Volkswagen is determined to position itself as a serious competitor in the electric vehicle market. With the announcement of the Scout Motors brand, the German manufacturer has clearly shown that it is ready to take on the challenge and compete with the best in the industry. We can't wait to see what the future holds.
